The SonicWALL CDP Bare Metal Recovery Software is installed on each server or workstation to be protected. The software permits creation of bootable rescue media. A bare metal image may include any combination of harddisks and partitions. All data on the disk/partition is captured: the OS files, applications and user settings. To restore a system, simply boot with bootable rescue media and select the image to be restored. Complete system restoration takes a matter of minutes.
