sonic point ne The SonicPoint-Ni Dual-Band model is a high performance wireless access point destined to organizations of any size.
It features three removable external antennas along with PoE(Power over Ethernet)support  and AC adapter enabling multiple deployment scenarios. A built-in Wireless Intrusion Detection System(IDS) scans for rogue access points and prevents unauthorized access.
Has broad protocol(Open, WPA, WPA2) and standards(802.11 a/b/g/n) support.

Where to use them

Both models, SonicPoint-Ne Dual-Band and SonicPoint-Ni Dual-Band, can be used in many deployment scenarios as they provide flexibility, performance, security and discretion. Such scenarios include shops, hospitals, warehouses or various office types.

  • Due to the fully internal antennas and PoE support the SonicPoint-Ni Dual-Band model can be especially useful for very discreet deployments; ideal for hospital and medical office environments.
  • The SonicPoint-Ni Dual-Band model can be used for medium discreet deployments(like a back office, an engineering floor, etc) or deployments that require an AC adapter(if power is available nearby or you are not connecting the WAP to a PoE switch or injector).
