How to Configure SNMP Settings in Your SonicWALL Firewall

In this video we will show you how to find the SNMP configuration section within your SonicWALL firewall’s management interface and how to properly configure the firewall’s SNMP settings.

SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) allows you to setup a remote monitoring application to periodically check the status of your SonicWALL firewall and notify you when critical events occur. Common checks include CPU usage, memory usage, network connections and many other items.

This kind of monitoring is very important when it comes to managing and monitoring your overall network security.
