Yes. The T115-W is purpose-built for low-traffic environments, including home
offices, remote workers, and micro-offices with 25 or fewer users. The fanless, silent design and
compact footprint make it easy to tuck into a cabinet or behind a monitor, and the built-in Wi-Fi 7
means one appliance handles both your firewall and wireless access without a second device to license
or manage.
No. Wi-Fi 7 is built directly into the T115-W with external antennas, so it handles
wired and wireless traffic in a single appliance. If your site is small enough for one radio coverage
zone, you are all set without purchasing or licensing a separate access point. For sites that need
multiple coverage zones, you can add WatchGuard AP hardware managed from the same WatchGuard Cloud
account.
Standard Support gives you 24x7 emergency access and firmware updates only. Basic
Security Suite adds IPS, gateway antivirus, application control, WebBlocker, and spamBlocker. Total
Security Suite builds on that with APT Blocker, DNSWatch, ThreatSync (XDR), EDR Core, and Gold support
with longer log and report retention in WatchGuard Cloud. Note that the Access Portal and
IntelligentAV are not available on the T115-W model.
The T115-W supports 5 Branch Office VPN (site-to-site) tunnels and 5 Mobile VPN
connections. IKEv2, IPSec, L2TP, and TLS are all supported for remote access. This is well suited to a
single-location office that needs secure connectivity to a corporate Firebox or a small number of
remote workers dialing in.
Yes. WatchGuard Cloud gives you centralized policy management, monitoring, and
reporting from any browser. Zero-touch deployment is supported, so you can configure the T115-W in
Cloud before shipping it to a remote site and have it come online automatically when the user plugs it
in, without needing local IT staff on site.
