Both are 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 access points with the same peak data rates, up to 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The AP330 adds 2 more internal antennas (6 vs. 4) for better coverage and a 2.5 GbE uplink port (vs. 1 GbE on the AP130), which makes it the better pick for medium-density spaces. The AP130 is the better fit for smaller spaces with lighter client traffic.

OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) allows the AP330 to divide a Wi-Fi channel into smaller sub-channels so multiple clients can be served in the same transmission window rather than taking turns. The result is lower latency and more consistent throughput when several devices are active at the same time.

Yes. WatchGuard Cloud management includes band steering to automatically move capable clients to the 5 GHz band, reducing congestion on 2.4 GHz and making better use of available spectrum.

The AP330 is powered by 802.3at (PoE+) through its 2.5 GbE LAN port, so no separate power adapter is needed when it's connected to a PoE+ switch or injector. It can also run on an optional 12V DC adapter.

Yes. The AP330 is designed for medium-density indoor environments including open offices, classrooms, and conference areas where multiple clients connect simultaneously and OFDMA scheduling helps keep performance consistent compared to older Wi-Fi standards.
